Last month I styled a shoot for two beautiful women in Technology business. For someone who loves technology and fashion, this was an enjoyable and fun shoot. Here are some of the pictures from the shoot.

What do you do when you have to go to work but your hair is a mess? Well I won’t let that spoil my day or whole outfit. Grabbed a scarf, searched on YouTube ways to tie creatively head wraps and voila away good, no wait GREAT to go. I used a scarf with colours in my outfit for the day. It matched the shoes, skirt and jacket and yep I got compliments and even forgot about the messy hair. 🙂 Don’t despair, theres always a way.
Make sure the way you tie your headgear is subtle to fit a corporate environment. Don’t go overboard and do all sorts of artistic wraps. Have fun

This is one classic unstructured dress that falls straight from the shoulder, has no darts, little or no side contouring, and is designed not to be worn with a belt. It never worked before when I was lean now I go for it for that smart relaxed casual look.

I opted for flats since I knew there will be a lot of moving around. It looks great in soft fabrics.
If you are a pear shaped/triangle this one is for you especially with sleeves this length to create the hourglass balanced body.
There are those colors that will always catch your eye when buying clothes. Not that it’s a bad thing to have a favorite color 🙈. I’m a such a sucker for ALL shades of brown. I will gladly wear brown head to toe if I have to. I was glad when I did my colour analysis and found out most colours that suits my skin tone were Browns.
I am a warm and muted and have a colour swatch I use now and then when I do my shopping. It has 60 different colours that will look good on me. There are 12 different results for the colour analysis. Everyone unique for every skin type. You should get yours too 😉

This past weekend I attended a women afternoon event and dress code was “a dress and a hat” nothing specified about the dress so I had no problem with that. I usually have a problem with the typical floral dresses associated with women afternoon garden events because I don’t do flowers, rather trees and leaves. I had my dress ready and weather decided otherwise

It rained and was cold so I had to make last minute changes to my dress. I couldn’t wear a sleeveless one so I went to my favorite combination of black and brown. Black is not my best colour and is not even in my swatch so I had to pair it with a colour that suits me. The switch was easy, changed only the dress and left accessories

It has been a while  of no sharing, Well, long story short; I gained weight (UK6 to UK10!). I am not even complaining! For once I’m able to buy most clothes of my clothes off the store and wear them without altering. It was always a battle to find clothes that are ready made and fit. Either waist fit and length didn’t, or length fits but waist didn’t. I also cut my dreads and started new ones. I wanted to try something different. (owai! it didn’t materialise) I know right. Once a locstar, always! anyways, I’ve decided to create a category here to share some of my looks and how I put together some of my outfits. I will if available, also add links where you can buy them.
